Who are you really?
Well, I’m just a regular guy. That’s my wife and biggest fan, Amanda. We live right outside of Washington, D.C. with our Great Pyrenees Ollie. My main gig is playing saxophone, guitar, and bass with Annapolis based Reggae Rock band Bumpin Uglies, and on the side I own and operate my own recording studio.
When I’m not playing music, Amanda and I travel the world together playing cards in every bar we can find. I also collect comics, books, and vintage video games, and when I manage to find the time, I love hiking and sailing.

It’s nice to meet you! I’m a professional musician based in Rockville, MD.
I’ve been playing music all my life, and whether I’m playing, producing, recording, or teaching, I can’t get enough of it. My day job is playing saxophone, guitar, and bass for internationally renowned reggae rock band Bumpin Uglies, but even professional musicians need a side gig!
Big Willy is MY solo project, and it’s my opportunity to really let my genuine self out into the world. The music is hard to pin down to a specific genre, but you might hear rock, reggae, soul, R&B, folk, jazz, and country influences depending on the song you pick. The important part is the music is REAL, with lyrics that come from the heart, basslines that come from the soul, and a vibe that can only be felt.
